It's been a busy week with my parents being here, a big deadline approaching, getting ready to move, and of course, convocation. I didn't attend my undergraduate convocation, but even now have a hard time really feeling as though I've achieved a milestone. Two years is a such a brief time to achieve a degree.
My favorite shots in this set are of my Converse sneakers. After a year and a half, I'm going to retire them and start a new pair... they've definitely earned some rest.

I'm a little behind on posting because I've been away for the weekend in New York. Things have been hectic and tiring (and unfortunately I've been getting sick as a result). I'm sad to report that I've missed a day (already) in my challenge -- I'm going to work harder to make sure I always have a camera on hand so I can snap a quick picture even when I don't have time to go out hunting for a good shot. But I do have some extra shots from October 6 where I went for a walk with the express purpose of getting some pictures... and of course, my favorites from New York City.

I've been trying to think of how I want to do these posts. I want to be able to say a little more than just a brief caption for each photo, but I also don't want to rant a whole lot.
These past few days have been busy at the lab, and between rush-hour construction commuting and being in a windowless room for hours each day, I haven't had a lot of chances for any great photos. So here are some shots that I managed to get around the psychology building and on my walk home.
